Work of Art

It's less than a week left of my internship stint. A huge dose of Excel spreadsheets, microsoft word documents, budgets, cheque books, invoices, payment vouchers, receipts, P&L, balance sheets etc etc over 3 months. Plus the occasional wrestling with the moving of furniture, searching high & low for assets, cleaning of dusty cabinets, sorting of ancient documents etc etc.
Boy, it was fun. I even had the battle scars to prove it. I call it an occupational hazard - to have countless paper cuts & bruises from falling arch/binder files & boxes. Thank you to everyone who made it sweet and memorable. What if I can't bear to leave now? Haha. Just kidding.

I'll be back though.
I hope.

Inevitably, my work environment has made me miss theatre terribly. More specifically- Theatre Gary Tang style. He has the most unconventional themes to explore. His theatre is where we hardly ever need to speak any lines & rehearsals mainly consist of organic workshops which we are motivated to find our own sets of movement. Anyway, I gotta quote GT here- It's not about how we move, it's what moves us. Deep, huh? (As much as I hate to admit it, he's been an inspiration to us. )

Suffer for your art, and it will take care of you. It's been too long.
Thou shall suffer.
Gladly.
