Why anti-watch? I used to be a swatch-watch fan, I loved their creative graffiti designs. BUT, it was the NY rules which made wearing watches a sin in itself, as the watches allowed to be worn to school were subjected to strict requirements e.g. the watch face must be at most the size of a 20Cent coin, and the straps must be either metal, leather or black/white. I chose to save myself the trauma of wearing ugly watches in the 4 years in NY. Furthermore, I tend to dig expensive watches. So... buying those watches is out of the question.
Although I was strangely blessed in January to find a gorgeous ring-watch which suited my needs just fine, it had disappeared even before I realised it. :( Apparently, I have a knack for losing things these days. Losing everything. Probably my sanity as well. In fact, I have numerous cuts on my left elbow and i have Zero idea how it occurred.
Anyhow... I take comfort in the fact that Sunday was a much better day than Saturday. Everyone has an unfulfilled feeling lulling around in their souls. Thank goodness for our Sunday escapade. First, I spent the entire afternoon ruining my own karma at Fashion Bar. Then, it was an impromptu dinner outing to the Old Airport Rd Hawker Centre! :D That place is fascinating- so many stalls! Re-inspires the love for hawker food. We had the wanton mee and it is the best wanton mee I have tried! Its lined with many many accolades and the likes, but me not being the wanton-mee connoisseur, I wont say that its the holy grail of wanton mee. It's a simple, hearty and dependent comfort food.

Technology & innovation never fail to surprise me.Queue Number!
FYI, this was the OTHER famous wanton mee stall.
Dixi recommended the more traditional stall which we ate from,
(with the white and blue crockery and human queues),
as he thinks that their chilli is better.
Some candy colours to brighten up the mood- Try to spot the difference! This is the wall of the new yoghurt shop at HollandV.
Staffed with lovely young nymphs, it attracts a good following of testosterone laden men.
I love the wall that is plastered with the witty badges.
By the way, if you didnt see the red cross flag day sticker,
YOU SUCK.
