Weekday update

Sunday was a really FUL-FILLing day, because i overate at the Hi-tea buffet at Swissotel Merchant Court. The variety was pretty reasonable for the price of 22+++ but the quality of it is in doubt. Or maybe I just cant get used to a standard below that of Raffles Hotel's Tiffin Room. The latter is the best, udisputedly. Gosh, I miss them so much! I wanna try Goodwood Park's Hi-tea too. Im sure it will come a close second to Raffles.

Well, today(monday) is a sunny day which started off freezing in my Econs class this morning. I had lunch with my Sem1 friends and they are always a joy to hang out with. Haha. After that, I rushed down to Bedok to attend Rach's Grand dad's wake.

The first surprise i got, was that the place seemed extremely familiar to me. Then, it struck me. I came here before... in the 2nd half of 2004, with my ex & his soccer kakis. Yeah, it was weird, because i would have never imagined coming back to this ULU place again. Haha.

Afterwhich, poor sick & tired Rach was ranting to us about her problems. Family and office politics. Why is life so complicated? Why cant people be civil to each other? Then we'll have world peace...

Well, i had my VIRGIN experience on Norman's motorbike today. It was cool man. I never knew that the helmet was so heavy. I think if i shifted my head too much to 1 side, i'll prolly fall off his bike. The experience was exhilarating! We were on the ECP and the wind was so strong. I had never imagined that the wind resistance outside the car was this strong. The view i had today was completely different. Suddenly, i felt as if i could touch the skyscraper in the distance, if i reached my arm out far enough. I admit i was kinda apprehensive at the beginning, but i swear a motorbike ride is addictive. The most amusing part about the ride was that I was wearing my shortest mini skirt (Hey, i didnt know i was gonna be riding right???!) So, i seriously felt like a true-blue chao ah lian on a motorbike with her ah beng/Pia kia boyfriend. Haha. And i seemed to notice a number of stares from lorry uncles. :S

Then it was delicious dinner at Out of the pan at rafflescity. We took FULL advantage of their 1 for 1 deal on monday afternoons. It was good, seriously. Go check it out yourself.

POLEDANCE! It's tiring to say at the very least. We did the basic swings, the fireman swing & the geisha swing. On top of that, we had the usual things like hip rolls, body waves etc in the routine. Its harder for me to perform the swings on the left side, but how am i supposed to practise?! Whose the one with the pole installed in his room???
