One Cod Fish&Chips cost about 5.15pounds.
Expensive I would think.
But it was big slab of quality cod I tell you.
Served in a restaurant, it would certainly cost at least SGD$15.
So, its not that bad. It was rather popular as well.
We found a park I guess.
Complete with a pond and lush green plains.
I was so excited to see real big dandelions.
You know the ones we have in Singapore are like mimosa weeds?
These are the real things.
Jeff plucked it off the ground & i had blow at it really hard.
Anyhow, it was just a whimsical cheap thrill.

It's like all my storybooks coming alive.
You'll see how home-proud they are!
Simply by looking at their well-maintained blooms & yards.
The flowers, the picket fence, the red bricks, the white lacy curtains!
Guildford is a rather wealthy town.
Many BMWs, Audis, Mercedes zipping around town.
Looks like a quaint crooked house doesnt it.
Well, that was last night. Just earlier, we went to Tesco to have a short look around, then to Town Centre. But everything was closed by 7pm! Even on a friday evening! And all we got were wet hair & wet feet walking in the rain. We wanted to go chill in a bar, but I didnt bring my passport, & they refused to accept student IDs, so I was refused entry. Just as well, we headed back to Tesco soon after. Then everyone was so happily looking for their foodstuffs & fanstasizing about their future meals. The promos in Tesco are rather amazing I think. Anyway, no pictures as it was pouring cats & dogs. I'll get photos when i return to High Street again soon. It's a pretty place to shop in.
Today was rather boring, we had our formal induction programmes. Registration, getting the campus card, talks etc etc. I was trying my darnest to not fall asleep. There was plenty of small talk. My favourite person of the day was this lovely girl- Diana from Columbia. Yeah, that exotic land is a place which strikes me as a Ms Universe breeding ground. Haha. Well the world is just so diverse, I'm overwhelmed all the time. I met many many people from Germany. 1 boy from Paris, 1 girl from switzerland, 1 girl from Italy, 1 boy from Korea, 1 girl from Australia, a couple of English girls, 1 boy from Netherlands etc etc. Yeah. It's United Nations. The ironic part is that I'm hanging out with Americans! Because they are staying with me on Hazel Farm. Haha. To think I was wondering if I'll get a english accent. You'll be lucky if i DONT come back with an American accent instead.
