How's the weather?

Airbus A380

Hazel Farm, Guildford
The greenery just underneath my window.

The neighbourhood.
I love red brick houses.
I saw BIG squirrels running around.

My room. Haha.

It's an extremely surreal experience to be here in the Great Britain. It's only my first day here and I have to pinch my cheeks to convince myself that I have survived my 13.5hour solo flight halfway around the world, went through the immigration smoothly, met all the people whom i need to meet to get to my room. I am so grateful.

Thank you to myself for stupidly putting a scissors in my pencil case & forgetting about it until the security officers searched my bags for it. Well, it was a blessing in disguise as they helped me cut the queue after that. Haha.

Thank you to Mark, the kind gentleman who sat on my right. It was such a coincidence because he was a former professor of Uni of Surrey. He taught Tourism. Haha, and he's a such a fan of Southeast Asia. There were many pleasant conversations.

Thank you to Mary, the sweet matronly old lady who left England and lived in Australia for the past 40 years. She gladly mothered me throughout the flight & humoured me with her silly antics.

Thank you to Richard, who met me at the airport this morning. It was such a relief to know that someone is there to look out for me after an exhausting journey here.

Thank you to the UniS volunteers who help me with my accomodation procedures.

Thank you to Katie, the lovely Russian girl who was such a darling.

Thank you to the nice North Carolina boy who helped me with my big-ass luggage up 3 flight of stairs & through gazillion wooden doors. I couldnt have done it without you.

Thank you to my family, cause I know they care when they nag at me via Skype.

Thank you to everyone back home, cause i miss u guys already! Haha. (So far no cute boys. Thats why!)
