12 Oct, Friday was another one of those days with a crazy sequence of events.
Firstly, Happy Birthday to Queen Tanu!
She's a Tweenteen too now!

along with the hundreds of restuarants along that stretch.
(It's behind Little India MRT.)
There, we had our first taste of Chindian Food.
It's pretty nice. Chindian is a good label for this type of cusine really.
I cant place it in either Indian or Chinese.
2pm, Prego, Swissotel The Stamford

complete with a birthday song for Tanu by the lovely staff.
Friday night, 10pm at Ice Cold Beer, SMU
Haha, the encouraging turn-out is as shown in the photo.
Oh well... After that, we adjourned to The Tea Party
(BTW, it seems to be a usual friday night hangout now).
Then, I basically stoned for the rest of the night.
Tired. Yawn.
13 Oct (Saturday) 2-4pm, GreenRoom Cafe at Bishan Park with Chris & Harry
Gimme some fresh greens & I'm a happy girl.
But, i waited until my gastric juices started to churn out a war-zone in my stomach.
Sheesh. It was ridiculous.
I think the waitress was genuinely nice & service-oriented.
However, the overall experience was pretty ruined with waiting, waiting and more waiting.
Nevertheless, THANKS so much to Chris & Harry for sponsoring my lunch.
They know how POK i am.
I'm so glad to have sweetie-pie cupcakes as friends. :)
That evening it was my Grandmother's birthday gathering,
and there I spent more time chatting with my brother than I have in the entire month.
Week 9 has been horribly stressful and hectic. It was project meetings, and more project meetings, Company Law Mid-term exam, MS assignment all rolled into one week. I've been frazzled and irritable the entire week. We sort of managed to hold a failed birthday celebration for the FTB mates at Frujch & now all of us are too tired to bother. Oh well. Anyhow, now that Friday is over, I look forward to Monday's MA presentation. (Emphasis on sarcasm added.) Oh and Sunday's Great Eastern Woman's run. I foresee myself walking more than running now. Haha.
Anyway, before I forget, DEEP is 20 as well! Have a Sweet 20 babe!
You'll have to tow me along on Sunday. Hah!

Now, let me talk about the highlight of week 9--- the RAOUL SALE! :) We were traumatised by the crowd & heat & the low prices, but we'd go through it all over again if we had the choice to. It's so worth it. I can even look forward to FT class now. Hurhur. Last night, was an evening reliving the JC days. We went to Bukit Timah area to play POOL. The pool place at Beauty World is called Century & it stank of unwashed secondary school boys. The tables, balls & cue sticks were in a horrible condition. Despite all that, we had our fair share of laughter & bad jokes (from me) & a good time catching up. Thereafter, it was supper at Al Azhar and we have learnt the "two seconds" concept. It's actually a term used by their servers which means, "I don't know how long more your order will take, maybe forever, so just shut up & wait."
