Leave your footprints

We didnt have the sun or the clear blue skies, but it was a lovely weekend nonetheless. It was a pleasure walking through the English countryside under the autumn leaves, snooping around a medieval castle in a quaint historic town on a leisurely Saturday. (It seems like all English towns are historic, well at least they all claim to be.) I got to see the fields, complete with grazing livestock; a lake with a good number of its inhabitants and admirers; the trees with their fallen leaves. I was being my usual annoying self the entire day and I was half-irritating Justin with all my "What's that?" questions which he can't answer.

A typical English day. Sweet, ain't it?

A pretty route around the Swanbourne lake & hills.

We were finally at the Swanbourne Lake.
It appears to be popular with families,
and the kids were happily feeding the greedy swans, ducks & gulls.

The staircase leading to the castle's Keep.

A peek through the keyhole window.

It's high up on the hill, overlooking the downs below.

We then went to Bognor Regis to see the sea, but the sea seemed aloof and grey.
Not the usual welcoming sight, but still - I forgot to take pictures!
Sorry because I was cold & hungry. Haha.
At least, I had a toasty Fish & Chips to complete the English seaside experience.
Decent fish, good chips. :) It's rare to NOT find soggy chips. haha.

Gingerbread men with self-decorated icing and sprinkles. Haha.
You gotta down it with beer, of course.
We were on the train, on our way back to Guildford for a house party.
It was a good party - filled with drama the entire night!
Just like a proper one should be. Haha.

Sunday was a proper one with a lie in until its in the P.M. I'm just really confused about the Daylight saving thing here, because it makes it seem as if the day is really really dark extra early. So while it's a little brighter in the early morning when you get up, you dont really save that much daylight do you?

This is Dhanisha who insisted on taking countless pictures,
so that we can get a good one of us sucking on our straws. haha.
We were at Hera's 20th Birthday on Monday night.
The pics are on facebook, help yourself if you like.
We had a dinner at Pizzahut, and we have arrived at a good conclusion!
Pizzahut all over the world has BAD service. Haha.
Anyhow this picture is for my MOM. So that she can see me properly after 2 months.

I was looking at the weather forecast this evening & it predicted light rain after 10pm. So I waited patiently, revising my spanish, then I was wondering just when was it ever going to snow!? Although the possiblity was rather small since its only OCTOBER. But I decided to stick my hand out of my window & i saw white specks on my palm. ZOMG, its NOT RAIN, ITS SNOW!!!!!!!!

I tried to find similar enthusiastic people, but failed. Everyone else was like - oh snow? Okay. Others were like WHATTTT!!! Then they went out to play in the snow. I was sooo excited, I threw on a coat, burst of my house in my jammies and embraced the falling snow. It started poorly, like frozen raindrops, then it was a good proper one which was powdery. Thankfully I manage to find some good companions a little later when i went to knock on Tania's & Vicente's flat. Haha. I was caught in a mini snowball fight as well. :) I like having snow on my face, on my hair & on my tongue. Plus I left alot of my footprints around on the snow-tipped grass.
