Hottest, Loudest, Singfest

3rd August 2008 Sunday 2pm
Fort Canning Park
It was a very very long walk up the hill to get the main gate.
Then it took us about 30mins in the long snaking queue to enter.

Queue part 2.
Human traffic bottleneck at the building.
It separates the Stage 1(Local bands) & Stage 2(International acts).

People, people, people!
This is last year's number X 123873613 at 3pm ONLY.

Stacie Orricco who bravely performed her heart out in the blazing hot sun.
PSST... The mole is still there!

Jamie Scott & the Town.
He's much cuter in person.

OneRepublic were very entertaining & managed to pump up the energy levels.
Very intense performance.
All hit songs man. Do check them out.

Panic at the Disco. They were pretty alright.
But they had a tech problem when the mike or speakers went wonky
& we couldnt hear the lead.
It was surreal, staring at the big screen, with his oh oh serious face
& see him mouth his words, but we could hear nothing.
Oh by the way, he went to the back to puke!
Before coming back to sing the last song. Respect.

Mraz, my man. My dream man-lover boy. Haha.
Flanked by Toca Rivera, he rocked the house down.
No one can deny his brilliance at live performances.

All the girl groupies really got him this time.
All that enthusiastic screaming into my ears. Ouch.

Rick Astley- the Together Forever dude!
Mambo - unplugged session. haha.

The Pussy Cat Dolls, heating up the already hot arena.
Maybe that's why the tempers flared too.
We had a minor brush with some drunken thugs during their segment.

Move over ladees... for Alicia Keys.

We waited for agesssss for her to come on.
Then her set took an hour plus plus plus. Just like a full concert.
FYI, she has the most talented musicians & backup singers with her.
We were soooo impressed by them.

Curtains fall.
Closing time. 1am.

All you pangseh kias, you missed out BIG time. Haha.

P.S. I can't help myself.
I'm gonna see Mraz AGAIN.
