Retarded & sore fingers

So much for me wanting to stay home and catch up with school work... Im into the FIFTH week of Semester ONE and school work is piling sky-high. I'm already getting so tired of school. Not a surprise, since I was jaded since Year One, Semester One, Week Four. Hah!

Alright, I'll do some self-consolation to redeem my poor tortured soul. I did do some work for, hmmm, 30minutes! Woohoo. Then, the other productive acitivity was having my first proper lesson on how to play Sween's semi-acoustic guitar. IT'S SO DAMN DIFFICULT! I blame my short stubby fingers, my too-long fingernails, my small hands, delicate fingertip skin & flesh, inflexible wrist. In a nutshell, i blame my musically-repelling retarded fingers. On top of that, a classical guitar is a wee too wide for my hands to handle. I had to PRESS really hard too, when i already have so much trouble keeping my fingers on each string.

Thanks to Josh who restrung my guitar. I'll treat you something someday. haha. :) Now i aspire to own a decent acoustic guitar which will be slightly easier to handle. Preferably black or hot pink or red or something. You know that I'm a flashy wannabe rock chick right? For example, see below! In fact, now that i need short nails, I'm contemplating white or black painted nails to go with it. Hahaha.

Anyone got good lobang???
My budget is rather tight- $100, +/- $20

Well, after the BBQ plans at Dixi's place crumbled into debris, i ended up hanging out with them from 7.30pm to 1.30am anyway! So much for trying to obey a self-imposed curfew to appease my Dad. Sheesh. Haha. But I enjoyed their lovely company anyhow. Seafood Dinner at Adam Rd Food Centre accompanied with beer (must ah peh all the way), followed by Island Creamery's exotic ice-ream at Serene Centre, and then to the Tea Party at 6th Ave Centre for tea & scones. Haha. I appreciated the aching abs from never-ending laughter at our coffeeshop-worthy talk-cock sessions and 100% willingness to make a fool out of ourselves. (In fact, I suspect we relish doing that.) They are just like my NJ girlies! I need a daily dose of wackiness & bitchiness.

Dixi's grand performance of conducting the orchestra & Kenn's punk rock version of the national anthem during the Simpsons boardgame were PRICELESS. Hahaha. Mind-blowing, I swear!

By the way, Chacha lessons yesterday evening were cool as well. I'm glad I'm starting to learn new things to take my mind off school. I'm looking to seeing Chris Daughtry on 20Sept (Thursday) at St James too. Can't wait.
